Valor Real Estate Partners enters the German logistics market with a purchase in Düsseldorf.
The logistics specialist Valor Real Estate Partners, which focuses on the acquisition of urban industrial assets in Europe, is expanding its portfolio with its first acquisition in Germany. The acquisition demonstrates Valor's ongoing efforts to take advantage of opportunities in the European market for urban logistics and industrial real estate and to benefit from its port location and the high quality concept of its buildings. Since the fourth quarter of 2016, Valor has acquired logistics properties worth 500 million euros in 19 transactions in the UK, France and Germany.
The logistics complex with a total area of 16,384 m² consisting of two first-class distribution warehouses is located in the port of Neuss and benefits from the immediate vicinity of an important motorway, rail and waterway network. The location offers tenants a direct connection to the centre of Düsseldorf and the densely populated Rhine-Ruhr conurbation.
The warehouses were taken over as part of an asset deal and will be fully leased to the independent logistics service providers Fahrner and Clipper Logistics on a medium-term basis. The purchase was externally financed by Bayern LB. Valor was advised by Logivest GmbH.Logivest beraet Valor
