Aurelis Real Estate has acquired a logistics hall of 20,800 sqm in Moers. The property is located in Dr.-Berns-Straße and was sold by CTP. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The seller was advised by Logivest GmbH on the transaction.

PTS / Teknor Apex, manufacturer of special plastic compounds, is the new tenant of a modern logistics facility in Burgbernheim, Bavaria. However, it was not the entire property, which has more than 16,000 sqm at its disposal, that was rented, but a total area of approx. 5,500 sqm.

The international logistics service provider BLG LOGISTICS has extended its rental agreement on the site of the former Neckermann headquarters in Germany, the OSWE site in Frankfurt-Fechenheim. The approximately 64,000 sqm large logistics centre handles logistics services for various customers from fashion, workwear and occupational safety sectors.

For the purpose of expanding their existing warehouse capabilities ABC-Logistik GmbH from Düsseldorf has signed a rental agreement for a modern logistics property in the port of Düsseldorf. The area consists of 5,000 sqm, an additional 5,000 sqm are on hand.

For the first time since 2015 logistics service providers are on top regarding newly developed property. More than 924,000 sqm of newly developed logistics property, this is the main result of the Logistics Property Seismograph Q-2 2017. This quarterly market report is jointly published by the consulting company Logivest in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Center for Applied Research on Supply Chain Services (SCS). This excellent achievement together with to the 976,000 sqm of the first quarter make for approximately 1.9 million sqm for the first half of 2017. This amount is equivalent to 54% of the whole new developments volume in 2016. Also the user market structure is dynamic: Trading companies have been replaced by logistics service providers on the top position.

Dietz AG purchased 87,000 sqm of land from the municipality of Geiselwind in order to develop 43,000 sqm of it as storage and logistics property. The newly built logistics center is supposed to consist of five warehouse units between 6,000 ² and 10,000 sqm large. The prerequisite for the purchase of the land was a 24/7 license which is now being laid down in the land development plan, making the property attractive for companies with 3 shift operation as well. Logivest was advising both Dietz AG and the municipality of Geiselwind in the process of purchase and, respectively, sale of the property.

Logivest had the exclusive mandate of PPG Deco for advising on a logistics property transacion in Mönchengladbach. The new proprietor of the object with an overall area of around 7,500 sqm is a medium-sized company in the logistics and transportation sector. At this location the company will operate the logistics processes for a client in the field of the wholesale of paint. A non-disclosure agreement exists for the purchase price.

A CEP service provider extends its tenancy agreement for a classic cross docking hall in Hallbergmoos near Munich. The hall is separated into a nearly 4,000 sqm transshipment area and approx. 2,000 sqm of office and social areas. The object has an overall area of 5,800 sqm as well as a 14,500 sqm outside area. With the extension of the tenancy agreement the company secures its location in one of the top regions in South Bavaria. Proprietor and landlord is MELF Monti II S.à.r.L, for which Logivest had the exclusive mandate to bring the object to market.

Again in 2017, the YoungWings project was represented by the biggest group of runners at the annual Munich Sport Scheck Run on June 25th: 200 supporters in their bright yellow jersies took the challange.
