The Inno-Park in the Franconian Geiselwind is fully rented.
On a 12.5 hectare site, Dietz AG is building a two-storey logistics complex with docking gates and a superstructure for office and social areas, an adjacent high-bay warehouse and a reception building with car parking. The tenant of the new CO2-neutral multi-channel central warehouse is Puma. Implementation will be carried out by the general contractor Bremer AG, the future operator being BLG Logistics. Logivest acted as consultant for the location and rental agreement.
When completed in 2020, Puma will have over 63,500 m² of logistics space, 5,800 m² of office and social space and more than 700 m² of technical space available in the new logistics centre. The complex consists of a two-storey hall section, a high-bay warehouse with a clearance height of 21.5 meters (lower edge of truss) and an office building. In addition, there are outdoor facilities offering more than 150 truck and 380 car parking spaces.
The highly modern and sustainable logistics centre in the Inno-Park Geiselwind is directly connected to the A3 motorway and will give Puma a clear competitive advantage, enabling it to respond more quickly to customer wishes and use goods where they are needed. In total, around 300 jobs will be created.
Kuno Neumeier, Managing Director of Logivest GmbH: "We are very pleased that we have now been able to fully market Inno-Park Geiselwind with the settlement of Puma. Through the targeted merger of Dietz AG with Puma, BLG LOGISTICS and the municipality of Geiselwind, we were able to create an excellent starting point for the future success of the European central warehouse for all parties".
Dr. Alexander Nehm, Managing Director Logivest Concept GmbH: "In view of the rapidly growing European markets and increasing capacities, our challenge was to find a central logistics location for Puma with above-average space availability. In addition to fulfilling the so-called hard location factors such as the excellent infrastructural location and connection, soft location factors such as the very good cooperation with the municipality of Geiselwind were also decisive. Fast approval processes and a very professional and visionary approach have contributed significantly to the success of the project".
